China orders construction of a national blockchain network as part of new digital-economy blueprint
Beijing has placed a national blockchain network at the center of a 19 point policy package aimed at tightening the link between the digital economy and the real economy. The move reinforces China’s permissioned, state controlled approach to distributed-ledger technology while leaving cryptocurrency bans intact.
